Reggie Jackson a Columbus Ohio native, performs worldwide with two-time Grammy award winner Diane Schuur, Aftermath/Interscope recording artist Truth Hurts (produced by Dr. Dre) , and new LA based hip-hop artist Venus Brown (AKA Darrin Floyd whose credits include producer for Patti Labelle, and songwriter for the movie sound track "How to Be a Player").

Reggie has shared the stage with artists including The Count Basie Orchestra and has performed on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. A graduate of The Ohio State University School of Music, Reggie can be heard on numerous recordings and on radio stations across the country.

Reggie also fronts his own five-piece contemporary jazz group Jackson. The group's repertoire includes songs by some of today's top smooth jazz and jazz-fusion artists: Dave Grusin, The Yellow Jackets, Herbie Hancock, Pat Matheny, and Mike Stern. Although the group is relatively new, they have already gathered a strong following at local events, clubs, and concerts.

All samples were recorded in 16 bit stereo. Each drum was meticulously eq'd and panned to give a specific place within the stereo field. Equipment used to record samples: Audix D6 mic - kick drum, (6) Sennheiser E604 Evolution Series mics - toms & snare, (2) Neumann U87 mics - overheads, DBX 586 Dual Vacuum Tube preamp, Mackie SR24 - for preamps, Logic Audio Platinum, MOTU 896 interface, TC Electronic Finalizer 96K, Acid Pro - Edited and Acidized.
